21st European Conference
The 21st European Conference on Cooling Technologies took place on 12–13 June 2025 at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy. Organized by Centro Studi Galileo in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration European Association (AREA), and the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), the event brought together global HVACR leaders to discuss the latest innovations in the field.
The conference focused on cutting-edge technologies in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pumps, with key topics including; refrigerants and the cold chain, environmental impact and energy efficiency, training, certification, legislation, standards, and safety.
Ecem Ersoy from UNDP Türkiye, Cool Up’s country partner in Türkiye, shared insights on sustainable cooling practices and innovative approaches to energy efficiency in buildings and industry. The participation underscored Cool Up’s commitment to advancing climate-friendly solutions and aligning with international standards and best practices.
