UNIDO Sustainable Cooling Forum

Cool Up participated in the UNIDO Sustainable Cooling Forum (8–10 April 2026, Vienna), a global platform bringing together governments, industry, and experts to accelerate the adoption of sustainable cooling solutions. The forum highlighted policy, technology, and financing approaches to scale energy‑efficient cooling, strengthen partnerships, and support national cooling strategies—providing valuable insights relevant to Cool Up’s programme design and implementation.

IFC Egypt Cooling & Climate Roadshow 2026

The International Finance Cooperation (IFC) of the World Bank Group, in partnership with the UK Government and the UNEP Cool Coalition, held the Egypt Cooling and Climate Roadshow from 02–05 February 2026. Cool Up supported the mission by promoting the sessions and helping the organizers reach key stakeholders across Egypt’s cooling and climate community. The Roadshow featured focused discussions on sustainable cooling in real estate, agribusiness and cold chains, heat adaptation in the textile sector, and financial models for efficient buildings, contributing to stronger engagement on climate‑resilient cooling solutions in the country.
