The Cool Up team was present at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) and the World Future Energy Summit in the United Arab Emirates.

On 17 January 2023, Katja Eisbrenner moderated and Sawsan Bawaresh participated in the high level roundtable discussion, “Towards Cool COP28”, organised by Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and the Cool Coalition, and co-organised by the Cool Up programme. Speakers also included, Dr. Abdulla Malek, Paul Mbuthi, Antonio Di Cecca, and Haya Aseer. Cool Up’s presence demonstrated that sustainable cooling plays a role and has several market and ​policy opportunities in the MENA region and beyond.
