Cool Up at UNFCCC COP31
The Cool Up programme will participate in the 31st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31) in Antalya, Türkiye from 09 – 20 November, 2026. The event will bring together government representatives, international organisations, the private sector, financial institutions, and civil society to advance global climate action. COP31 provides a key platform to showcase solutions, partnerships, and investments that can accelerate the transition to sustainable, climate-resilient cooling and support countries in achieving their climate and development goals.
As Parties gather for the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), discussions will focus on accelerating climate action, strengthening resilience, enhancing access to climate finance, and supporting the implementation of national and international climate commitments. COP31 provides an important opportunity to showcase practical solutions that can help countries deliver ambitious mitigation and adaptation outcomes while advancing sustainable development.
During the conference, Cool Up partners will engage with policymakers, climate practitioners, financial institutions, private sector representatives, and development partners to share lessons learned from advancing sustainable cooling across the MENA region and Türkiye. The programme will highlight how policy development, investment mobilisation, capacity building, and evidence-based decision-making can help integrate cooling into broader climate, energy, and development strategies.
The team looks forward to connecting with partners and stakeholders at COP31 and contributing to global discussions on expanding access to sustainable cooling, enhancing climate resilience, and supporting the achievement of long-term climate and development goals.
