meetMED week 2023

meetMED week took place in Marrakesh, Morocco in May 2023, bringing together the MENA community to strengthen the implementation of energy efficiency measures and improving countries’ energy mix, focusing on buildings and appliances in the MENA and Mediterranean regions.

From 09-12 May 2023, the Cool Up team was present at meetMED week. On 11 May, Cool Up’s Programme Director, Dr. Nesen Surmeli-Anac and Cool Up expert Eng Sawsan Bawaresh presented, “Cooling Buildings and Planet,” highlighting the importance and opportunities of the transition to sustainable cooling and natural refrigerants for countries in the MENA region.
