ISK-SODEX Istanbul

ISK-SODEX, provides a large space for heating, cooling, ventilation, and AC technology. Suppliers and buyers from MENA, building developers, associations and researchers came together to exchange ideas and knowledge on new developments and innovations. The event brought local and foreign sector professionals under the same roof and pave the way to business contracts.

Cool Up’s participation created the opportunity to share the expertise and the progress achieved in Türkiye and partner MENA countries on cooling practices.   

Advancing Sustainable Cooling in Türkiye

On 19 April 2025, Cool Up participated in the teskon+SODEX Heating, Cooling, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Insulation, Pump and Valve Exhibition and Congress, organised by Hannover Messe Sodes and the TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers of Türkiye. The event gathered professionals from the RAC industry and academia to discuss the latest developments in HVAC technologies.

Cool Up Highlights

  • Presentation of the co-authored National Cooling Action Plan (NCAP) paper by Gökçen Asan (UNDP Türkiye), which attracted strong interest from sector stakeholders.
  • Discussions with key associations such as ISKAV, ESSIAD, SOSIAD, ISKID, and TTMD on ongoing and upcoming Cool Up activities.
  • Engagement with around 30 participants, including RAC association members and academics, to strengthen networks and share insights.
