Cool Up’s country partner UNDP Türkiye participated in the World Refrigeration Day event “Cool Skills – The Coolest Talents”, organized by SOSIAD. The event convened key stakeholders from the refrigeration sector to discuss sustainable cooling, alternative refrigerants, and international certification systems.

Zeynep Gökçen Asan (UNDP Türkiye) presented on the role of emissions modelling in shaping a sustainable cooling future. Her talk highlighted Türkiye’s National Cooling Action Plan and the modelling of F-gas emissions, emphasizing the importance of data-driven approaches to climate-friendly cooling.
