Within the scope of the Cool Up programme and BUILD_ME
Within the scope of two large IKI projects, the Cool Up programme and the BUILD_ME project, GlobalABC and Guidehouse are collaborating on the dissemination of knowledge products and capacity building to accelerate the transition towards zero-emission buildings. The activities will focus on workshops, webinars, publications, tools, training and initiatives, including Cool Up, the BUILD_ME project, the annual GlobalABC Buildings-GSR, and the Buildings Breakthrough target.
The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) works towards a zero-emission, efficient, and resilient buildings and construction sector through raising the sector´s ambitions to meet the Paris Agreement goals and mobilizing all actors along the value chain.
The “Accelerating 0-emission building sector ambitions in the MENA region” project, known as BUILD_ME, supports various key stakeholders (Policy, Finance and Industry) in their efforts to decarbonize the building sector in the MENA region. Focusing on the unlocking of financial resources for low energy buildings, the improvement of the political and regulative framework for energy efficient buildings.
