In 2021 Cool Up organised and executed its first round of thematic group meetings in Jordan with relevant stakeholders in the policy, technology, market and finance space. The aim of the virtual meetings was to introduce stakeholders to the Cool Up programme, as well as garner insights on the barriers and opportunities around upscaling sustainable cooling in Jordan. The Cool Up programme officially launched in a virtual event on 6 October 2021. The event introduced the programme to international stakeholders and featured ministerial representatives from Germany and Cool Up’s partner country governments. Cool Up presents at 77th Cairo Climate Talks

On 27 July the Cool Up team presented in “The Heat is On: Climate Change and Heat Confirmation,” a webinar that was part of the Cairo Climate Talks (CCT).
